Fish & Co @ Bangsar Village

Had dinner at Fish & Co for farewell of my 2 dear colleagues - Nik & Illa. :-(

Lenny, Me, Nik, Illa & Kelly

Ordered a variety of dishes for sharing.

The mussels cooked with garlic and lemon butter is really a must try. The sauce really opened up our appetite, and we can't seem to get enough of the sauce. Asked for extra baguette to dip in the sauce. Though attention was mainly or rather entirely on the sauce, the main hero in this dish - the new zealand mussels were good too, and of course, fresh.

Mussels with Garlic & Lemon Butter. Price-RM12.90

The fried calamari tasted good too. Quite thick ring of squid.

Fried Calamari. Price-RM10.90

The portion of salmon salad seem a little small, could be partial to cover the cost of salmon? Served with caesar dressing, it compliments the romaine well, and the romaine was fresh.

Caesar Salad with Smoked Salmon. Price-Rm9.90

The fish & chips is a really good deal. For RM9.90, got quite a big slice of dory fish, and large cuts of fries.

We ordered the Wrasse fillet with sambal sauce, but we were served Wrasse fillet with parmesan batter and topped with tangy tomato sauce. Without the sauce, the fish was quite tasteless.

Wrasse Picatta. Price-RM16.90

The homemade peri-peri sauce was really good - not too spicy, a little sourish, and it really did perks up our tastebud. Eaten together with the grilled tiger prawns, yummy.

Peri-Peri Prawns.Price-RM22.90

We added RM7.50 for a soup of the day, ie. Mushroom Soup, and a drink.

Fish & Co serve quite good selection of food, and the price is affordable, and fair.
