I passed by O Banh Mi during lunch time on a weekday the week prior, and saw that it was packed with customers. So attempted a visit during Sunday last week, when I saw a less busy crowd.

Their core product is as per name of the brand name where Banh Mi in Vietnamese means all kinds of bread.

The baguette is an absolute winner. Just as how Vietnamese makes baguette, the outer later carries a light crisp texture, while the inside was airy. This Vietnamese styled sandwich is a product of French colonialism in Indochina, combines ingredients from the French that is the baguette, and with native Vietnamese ingredients such as cilantro, pickled carrots and daikon (winter radish). We ordered the teriyaki chicken which also came with sunny side up egg. A total satisfaction to a wholesome meal.

I took the Dry Grilled Chicken Vietnamese Noodle. I must say that the portion is really big for the price I paid. Definitely enough for 2 share... The bowl of noodle is filled with teriyaki chicken, cucumber, spring roll, lots of mint and basil, bean sprout, lettuce, garnish with peanuts and fried onions, and their home made fish sauce. I love the texture of the vietnamese noodle, that tasted absolutely fresh. It has the right thickness of noodle that I absolutely enjoy.

Total bill came up to RM33.90 for 2 person. Fulfilling and very much worth the price paid, in return for such satisfactory quality of food.

Garrett Popcorn @ 1 Utama, Bandar Utama

I can't remember when was the last I had the feeling of 'love at first bite'.. 

Had saw a long queue queing for Garrett's popcorn at KLCC some time back, but this time when I saw the same at 1-Utama, I just had to try it. 

But somehow I couldn't figure out the pricing much, but hey, how much would a pack of popcorn cost. 

And when it was my turn, my eyes was set on Caramel flavor, and requested for the Caramel Popcorn mixed with Macadamia. 

Took the medium pack, and at cashier counter, I paid RM36 (without nuts is RM21).

Ouch, if given time to think about it, ain't sure if I would paid this much for popcorn. But after I took 1 bite of the popcorn, I felt, wow! It's really worth the money spent. 

Each of the popcorn is quoted well with the caramel, and there are just loads of macadamia inside. Since buying raw macadamia isn't cheap, so the price came to very well worth it.
Crunchiness to the max, and super fresh!

I'm now at a phase that I cut down on 'fattening' food, but when the time comes, I surely want to indulge in Garrett's popcorn again.
