Suan, Candice and I had to divert our initial plan to eat at 'Chatterbox', Bangsar Village, as it was a rather long queue that afternoon. Suggested to have organic vegetarian lunch. Upon seated, was attracted by the leaflet/ad placed on the table, promoting the 100% Organic Oat Milk - as good source of protein and oats' soluble fibre, non dairy, lactose-free.. wow.. each of us 'bought' the ad, and ordered each a glass. After taking the 1st sip, I know for sure I won't be able to finish, as it really tasted 'tasteless'.Hmm.
We ordered the mee suah soup, which is claimed as speciality of Xiamen, Fujian, ie. fine dried wheat noodle with smooth texture. We liked the clear soup, however, felt that the mee suah was a little too soft. Suited for those who wants something light for its cooked using organic dried wheat noodle, green vege, tau pok and shitake mushrooms (all ingredients used are organic). .
This plate of spaghetti was also good. Quite worth it to order the set.
This plate of noodle was really delicious. For those who doesn't take enough vege, this is surely recommended for it is overwhelmed with a variety of organic vege. In fact too overwhelmed that we felt insufficient noodle. This was cooked using organic noodle, carrot, capsicum, green cabbage, green vege, fu chok and free range egg (all ingredients used are organic).
We were game for it when Candice suggested to have another plate of noodle. Opted for the spicy fried noodle. Also overwhelmed by vege - and it tasted good, except that its way too spicy for us..
