Hing Ket Grill House @ Kampung Jawa, Klang

Been to Hing Ket many years ago, and being a Klangnite, I owe this restaurant another visit. Organized for a dinner with Aloy, Sam, Sally & Janice few Saturdays ago.

When I arrived, I am just to wait to for the food to arrive. And it was a wise decision to be there by 6.30pm, otherwise, parking will surely be a problem at Hing Ket.

The brussel sprout tasted normal, so was the cantonese fried noodle. The highlight apart from the BBQ lamb was the fried 'tung hoon'. It was really so fragrant, not too wet, not too dry, and combined with white cabbage, pork, prawn and dried prawn, this was simply delicious.

I ain't too much a lamb eater, but I did tried this. The meat was tender and well marinated, and most important of all, does not have the too strong smell of lamb. All of them loved this.

I love mantis shrimp, but the flour coating to this may be a little thick, or was it the mantis shrimp that is too lean, that I don't taste enough of it.

The BBQ crab was really fresh that we could taste the sweetness of it.

BBQ Crab. Price-RM48. Naughty us to placed 1 crab on top of the other. Hehe.

We later ordered the yam noodle, as it sounded interesting. It tasted a little like 'pak kor', and has mild taste of yam.

After dinner, we adjourned to Aloy and Sam's home for coffee and chocolate fondue.

Coffee bought back from Paris. Surely it tasted good.

Since each cup of coffee has to be prepared one by one, we had much time to hang around, to pose around taking pictures. When all cups of coffee were ready, we can't wait to taste the coffee. We took a bite of marshmallow/strawberry dipped in chocolate, and the next, a sip of coffee. Pure enjoyment.. And it was certainly a great way to end the night.

Ber-posing posing- with coffee, strawberry, cake and the chocolate fondue. Sally baked us a cake too.

Aloy, at the background, wouldn't want to miss a chance to be in the photo. Hehe..
